Cost centre totals list

Description

With this module, the costs accrued on cost centres can be listed. On the one hand, the costs are displayed for the selected posting period (the so-called period costs), on the other hand they are cumulated from the beginning of the fiscal year belonging to the posting period up to the specified accrual period or optionally up to the end of the corresponding fiscal year.

A further option enables the additional output of the cost elements posted per cost centre. A difference line is output if the total of these cost centre/cost element postings does not match the total costs posted to the cost centre.

Costs are posted from financial accounting to the cost centres. Since these postings may also be posted to a cost object at the same time, these values are displayed separately (see columns "thereof with cost object"). One has the possibility to separate especially the revenue postings (=negative costs) from the other "net" costs (see"net" columns).

A double click on a list entry navigates - if period values exist - directly to a list of postings, otherwise to an overview of the period balances of the selected fiscal year. By using the right mouse button you always reach the overview of the period balances of the selected account in the selected fiscal year.

Fields
Field Description
Posting period The first time the mask is opened, the posting periods of the current fiscal year are displayed. The current posting period is pre-selected. By pressing the "Posting period" button you can select previous financial years.
Output planned costs Show or hide planned costs and variance columns
Issue accounts without period values Cost centres that do not show any costs for the selected posting period are also displayed. Otherwise, a list of only the cost centres that were posted to in the selected posting period is displayed. (default setting)
Issue accounts without annual values Cost centres that do not show costs for the selected financial year are also output. Otherwise, the system displays a list of only those cost centers that were posted to in the fiscal year.
Outputting cost elements Below each cost centre entry, the posted cost elements are also displayed with their values.
Accumulated values -
: End of period Cumulation of costs from the beginning of the financial year to the end of the selected accounting period.
: End of financial year Accumulation of costs over the entire financial year.

Invalid A stop sign is displayed here if the cost centre is invalid for the selected posting period and still shows costs.
Total period costs Output all costs posted to the cost centre in the selected period.
thereof with cost unit Output of costs/revenues (= negative costs) that were posted together with a cost object in the selected period.
Net periodic costs Output of all costs posted to the cost centre in the selected period, excluding the share of cost object (revenue) postings.
Total cumulative costs Output of all cumulative costs posted to the cost centre (depending on the accrual option).
thereof with cost unit Output of the costs/revenues (=negative costs) that were cumulatively booked together with a cost object (depending on the accrual option).
Net cumulative costs Output of all cumulative costs posted to the cost centre, excluding the share of cost object (revenue) postings (depending on the accrual option).
If the option for additional output of cost elements was selected, two additional columns are added for the period values and the cumulative values
thereof variable If the cost type of the cost element is "variable", the costs are also displayed in this column as purely variable costs
thereof fixed If the cost category of the cost element is "fixed", the costs are also displayed in this column as purely fixed costs
Totals -
: Total period costs Total of all costs of the cost centres in the selected period
: Net period costs Total of all costs of the cost centres in the selected period minus the period costs that were also posted with cost object/order in addition to the cost centre
: Kum. Total costs Depending on the selection of the accrual of the accumulated values, output of the sum of all costs of the cost centres from the beginning of the financial year to the end of the selected posting period or over the entire financial year
: Kum. Net costs Total as in the previous field, but minus the costs posted in the period not only for the cost centre but also for the cost object/order
